Seoirse was invited to take a selection of paintings to Milwaukee Irish Festival in 1994. They were nearly all connected to Irish music and Irish poetry in some way. But what began as a small series on the theme of Deora Dé (Tears of God, aka Fuchsia) which grow wildly on Donegal hedgerows soon became a theme on the colour red itself. Several of these paintings are now hanging on the walls of private homes in Chicago and Milwaukee.
The theme of Deora Dé continued in a show brought to Holland & Germany later that year and continued in several galleries in Ireland.
